On Saturday morning, June 4, a man died in a motorcycle crash on the day of his wedding just outside of Kansas City.
According to authorities the accident happened when 31 year old Gabriel Spiva of Independence, Missouri was having his bachelor party on Friday night, the eve of his wedding. Police said that Gabriel was on his motorcycle going very fast, a car pulled out in front of him, and he had to swerve, lost control, and went into a slide, and hit a parked car. He was taken to hospital but he did not regain consciousness and died shortly after.
His wife to be, Brandilyn Borron, also of Indepence was due to meet him at 11 a.m. in the morning for their wedding. They had been together for 17 years and had two children together and had finally decided to marry. The children are 2 year old Charlee and 5 year old Elliana.
One of the reasons for choosing the date they did is that it was the same date that Spiva’s mother’s father died in 1967.
